Plant diseases caused by viruses are the most menace to sustainable agriculture, leading numerous billion dollars in losses annually. Proper and accurate detection of plant is always key developing appropriate solutions manage economic them. Advances technology have simplified tools available detect diagnose at a time when control measures should be used. Currently, nucleic acid serological based diagnostic methods widely used for viral identifications. Serological techniques which on antibody antigen reaction broadly because its simplicity, adaptability sensitivity. A large number advanced tests such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), dot immunobinding assay, tissue blotting immunoassay Lateral flow assay. Various ELISA varieties double-antibody sandwich- ELISA, triple-antibody sandwich-ELISA, antigen-coated-ELISA testing viruses. Dot performed nitrocellulose that extracts spotted onto membrane while an easy method crude sap from plants directly blotted through immunology. latest only without aid laboratory skilled personnel.
